Organic pu-erh tea from old trees

I dare say, in our shop we have the best pu-erh tea collection from Thailand. All pu-erhs are made from leaves of old tea trees growing in their natural habitat. There is no mass pu-erh tea production in Thailand, so no plantations of Assam bushes. Vast areas of rainforest in Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Mae Hong Son, and Nan provinces which have always had many old tea trees stay wild and almost untouched by man. The soil is not depleted, and the forests boast a biodiversity, which is good for the soil and the taste of tea. There is no deficiency in the organic pu-erh material. It means, even though not every factory has a certificate, these are always 100% organic pu-erh teas – forest trees are never fertilized or treated with pesticides. You can buy these pu-ers with no hesitation.

While there are common flavor traits of Thai terroir, the varieties of  trees differ from each other. In combination with processing techniques, storage conditions and age, we’re getting a wide range of pu-erh tea tastes to offer in our shop. Pu-erhs is a separate cosmos in the world of tea, as well as in our project, it wouldn’t be a mistake to call this section of the web-site a standalone pu-erh shop.
