Gaba oolong tea made from Thai oolong material of Si Ji Chun variety.
The aroma of the dry tea reveals notes of baked fruit (no high roast), butter buns, and milk caramel.
On the palate there is a hint of plum, a little rye bread (no fried crust) and a lot of berry caramel with a slight milkiness.
This oolong, one might say, is casual, without great frills. But honest, neat and tasteful - that's why it appeared in our assortment.
When overbrewed, a characteristic gaba-sourness appears. At the same time, the tea does not fall into strong astringency or bitterness, but remains soft and smooth.
Pleasant aftertaste of a medium length: baked stone fruits, caramel, fresh rye bread.
The steeping resistance is quite good.
Straightforward everyday tea with a modern gaba-taste. As we have written before, the older gaba-machines create a slightly different flavor profile.
