This Dong Ding is made by an experienced master. I would even say, the best Dong Ding master in Thailand, whose name we keep secret. This year he’s made a surprisingly balanced tea that is hard to find among the mid-priced teas.
The dense taste of spring material gives out a chic Dong Ding flavors set: baked pastry, chocolate candy, buttery macadamia nuts and cashews, a mix of fresh fruits with a slight tartness of the stone. Gentle heating allows you to sense the entire flavor palette and enjoy the classic style.
We can recommend this tea for storing, its balance will only grow. However, it will not last long with us, author's teas are produced in small batches of 10-20 kg. Will be a worthy item in any serious tea collection.
This one replaced the dong ding heavy roasted as my favorite and has, in fact, piqued my interest in dong dings. This has a rich, bright high mineral content flavor and can be steeped multiple times. One pot at 1:1 water: tea ratio after lunch will see you all the way to evening.
Tasty oolong with a sweet and creamy aftertaste. I brought a similar oolong from China a long time ago, and it has long been one of my favorite oolongs because of its floral aroma and this sweet aftertaste. You have to sip it, taking in as much air as possible to make the sweetness more pronounced.
