The taste is similar to the high-quality Dongfang Meiren, with the same honey notes. But this oolong is more oxidized, so black tea lovers will like it. Very drinkable and holds many infusions. In the dominant are honey and fruit.

Like any properly made "Beauty", this lady will be even more beautiful with age so we recommend it for storing. Excellent value for money.

This tea has a quite spicy taste. It´s very peculiar and original, unlike what I would expect from oolong teas. The taste is pure and clean, and lasts for many brews.

Very good tea, highly recommend

I would recommend this tea not only to those that love Gui Fei, but to every tea lover that really wants to know what one oolong tea can offer. If I had to choose between Taiwanese and Thai version, it would be very very difficult. I think this tea definitely wins in appearance with perfectly shaped tiny pellets, and offers the best of both Gui Fei and Dong Fang Mei Ren. Gui Fei is an amazing tea.

Lots of hair in this tighly rolled leaves. Honey sweet and floral, in the dry state it releases a hint of golden raisin like scent.
The scent that is trapped in the aroma cup is nice. Thai Gui Fei has slight muscatel note alongside with sweet sandal wood aroma, longan flower honey aroma, slight hint of white hyacinthus flower scent and slight citrus flower aroma.
Richer / deeper aroma with longer steep with still manages to keep a sense of vibrancy in the aroma.
This tea has nice coloration in the liquor with a pretty glint. The tasting notes is pretty similar to what I have detected in the aroma with slight fruity addition.
Sweetness of longan blossom honey, peach like note, slight citric zest, cloudberry and dried cranberry.
The sweet aroma of hyacinth, rose, and sandal wood lingers for some time in the nassal cavity.
