Take the “tropical fruit” caramel, berry jam, a spoonful of fragrant honey, and a fresh peach pit, straight from the peach. Ok, great, you've got our new Gui Fei.

This bug-bitten oolong is brewed into a thick, oily and smooth on the throat infusion. The aftertaste reminiscent of the one from the fruit caramel, lasts another hour after the end of the session.

Gui Fei is oxidized exactly as much as necessary for the classic style, without falling into red tea, but stronger than light Darjeeling.

I have been waiting for this tea for a long time. The master delayed its production up to July. Usually, the Gui Feis in Thailand are ready by mid-June. Producers are in a hurry to make fresh tea - made it first, sold it first. To my questions “when, when will it be ready?”, the master replied “let the more cicadas arrive, the leaf is not ready yet”. And now you can taste the result. I'm sure you won’t be disappointed.

This is one of the most delicious oolongs I've ever tasted! The flavor starts out with broad, sweet, mellow notes of bourbon vanilla mixed with the flesh of creamy tropical fruit, then finishes with a graceful, perfumed black tea depth, like an Assam or Darjeeling, with no bitterness or astringency. Like a wonderful, fruity royal milk tea, dancing lightly on the tongue to the last drop. Both playful and distinguished, this is a tea to be savored.

Bouquet: When terrain unfolds its impact literally magic happens. The terrain has such a huge impact on how a tea tastes in the end. The soil, the earth with all its minerals, trace elements, and surroundings like other plants, trees compose a symphony only an orchestra like mother nature could create with perfection. Taiwan might be the origin of this cultivar but the soil of Thailand has its own mystical magic when it comes to Taiwanese Thailand Oolongs. In an instant, a wave of deep sweet fruity notes is conquering your senses followed by fresh-baked croissant filled with apricot jam and fresh from the tree mandarins while a sweet floral bouquet with an atmosphere of a rose-like Dancong Oolong is adding the perfect sensual headnote to it.

Liquor: This buddy is so silky thick and creamy with a very distinct bourbon vanilla pudding sweetness to it while this highly delicious pudding is filled with Thai mango and passion fruit. It leaves a certain dark chocolate minty vibe within your mouth like After Eight which would describe it the best. Overall all those Thai grown Taiwanese variations I experienced by TeaSide really left me in awe because of their deep and full profile. I know their original Taiwanese grown pedants (many of them) and it might be the ecosystem or the terrain as I mentioned before but those Thai ones really manage to impress way more with such a deep and unique profile. If you wanna fuse this buddy into three aspects for me it would be: Dancong meets Oriental Beauty meets Multivitamin Juice. What a marvelous experience. Highly recommended.

7.5 grams / teapot 160 ml. Brewed with boiling water, the steeps are short for a few seconds with a hold of up to 15-30 in the later ones.
Tea conquers from the first moment of acquaintance. The aroma and taste are ripe peaches, strawberries, something else undetectable, soft creamy caramel and apple candy.
Everything is so subtle and complex at the same time, and it does not seem to me that there is such an artificial flavor.
The tea is long, calmly withstood 2 liters and did not end. When overexposed, peach seed astringency appears, but it does not spoil the tea.
Valera, this is a very successful find! Practically, for me personally, a reference oolong.

Never have I tasted a blossom flavored tea as this. True gift for it's quality
