About headache relief. I don't know what this black magic is, but it works.
Works with terrible speed!
I caught it at the very beginning [of a headache], but ... but yes. Two steeps and as if nothing had happened.
For a sheng that is called 'bitter leaf' it is surprisingly not as bitter as I expected. The bitterness is there, but gentle.
I can't detect much from its aroma, which is on a lighter side, but certainly leans towards floral.
Medium body mouthfeel and dryness all around in the mouth. Makes me salivate more.
There is a sweet aftertaste, but not in a fruity way. Wet leaves smell of sugary green apples, though.
I feel the Qi, but it's gentle. It makes me feel more relaxed.
Honestly the tea was pretty normal. I would compare it to a couple other daily-drinkers that I have. Nothing spectacular, but definitely not bad.
Bitter Sheng is probably my favorite kind of puer.
This one does not fall in taste in anything compared to Bulang puer (bada etc.),
and is clearly of high quality gushu material- the taste is strong, as is the qi and the amount of re-steeps.
It has a unique bitter profile, which is always exciting!
If you like bitter teas give this one a try- even if it won't be to your specific taste, it definitely won't disappoint!
First try this tea is a little shocking for me, but the more I drink it the more I get hooked in it.
I believe this tea is from ancient tree, not sure about all the other details of the tea but I will find out more if I can purchase more of them.
Very thick and potent tea even on 4th-5th infusion it still as thick... which doesn’t happen a lot with other tea. Thickness is almost syrupy.
First the bitterness hits you pretty hard but as soon as you feel it it changes to a beautiful sweetness and full of fragrance. My mouth still feel flowery 2 hours after my last cup.
This is for sure going to be on the top 3 of my fav tea this year...
Can’t say enough... you just have to try.... hopefully we can get some for anyone who would like to try them...
Beautiful beautiful tea...
I also think that it will be amazing tea to aging, but if I have them I don’t think that will happen.
