Bai Hao Yin Zhen (Silver Needles) #AAA

Harvest time: spring 2016

Growing Region: Chiang Rai province, northern Thailand. 1400 metres.

This is the only white tea in our collection for the present and I highly recommend to try it. White tea can immediately give an idea of the climate, soil and the specificity of the local Assamica - that is the easiest way to determine the natural tea "handwriting" of Thailand. By the way, there are no bushes of Assamica in Thailand, so this white tea is from young trees.

Taste: Tea flavor is sweet, floral, caramel, with hints of mint candy. Sweetness easily passes from aroma to the taste. In addition to flowers, honey and fruit notes appear in the taste, in which you can identify the peaches.

Infusion is soft and velvety. Tea is not capricious, it can be brewed as you like and still come out delicious. However, if you exercise due care, Thai white silver needles will be able to give wonderfully rich, dense, bright, but at the same time, delicate tea.

See also:

- Very fragrant Dong Fang Mei Ren (Oriental Beauty) Oolong Tea. Bright notes of fruits and flowers here are in aroma. Strong velvety sweet aftertaste with tones of peaches and honey.

- Hand-picked high mountain green tea from the assam bushes, aged about 15 years.
