Harvest time: 2006

2006 Loose Sheng (Raw) pu-erh tea of medium-strong fire, the material is from thai garden with 100-500 years old tea trees. Quite heavy roast and considerable age give this tea hei cha notes.

Growing Region: Chiang Rai province, northern Thailand, 1300-1500 m above sea level. Age of trees is 100-500 years.

Warmed up dry leaves smell sweet, fruity-woody with notes of pipe tobacco. Rinsed tea flavor has caramel notes in addition.

This sheng is a bit rough, but it is even charming. Taste is rich, there are many flavors: dried apples, raisins and dried apricots a bit. And separately you can recognize dense savour of wood and autumn leaves - sweet, with spicy notes. It is alive, strong, warming up sheng, perfect for those who miss the forest being squeezed in urban apartments.

Aftertaste is solid and round, velvety-woody and long-lasting.
